Connect@Changi, developed by Temasek and partners including The Ascott Limited, Changi Airport Group, Sheares Healthcare, SingEx-Sphere Holdings, and Surbana Jurong, is a purpose-built facility designed to support the safe reopening of Singapore’s borders during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Housed within existing exhibition halls, the project overcame design and construction constraints by adopting flexible, adaptive modular methods to enable round-the-clock construction and fast deployment.
Offering an all-in-one “test-stay-work-meet” environment for inbound business travellers, the facility balances health security, operational efficiency, and economic continuity, setting a new benchmark for pandemic-resilient infrastructure.
